The Story Behind Adorned with Alignment

Some of the most meaningful transformations are the ones we cannot see.

In 2024, I made a decision that would change the course of my life. I committed to a week-long intensive EMDR experience, not fully knowing what I would discover on the other side.

That week transformed me.

I began growing in ways I had never believed possible for myself. I was learning to understand myself, to embrace the parts of me I had spent years trying to make sense of, and to recognize the person I was becoming.

Almost one year later, my world changed again.

I lost my brother in a fatal car accident.

Grief has a way of changing how you see everything. Suddenly, the things you once thought mattered don't always carry the same weight. Connection, presence, love, and the moments we share with one another take on an entirely different meaning.

As I navigated my own grief, I found myself drawn deeper into self-exploration and natural approaches to healing.

My journey took me to Bali, where I began working with shamans and exploring energy healing. Later, I traveled to Madrid, Spain, where I received my Level I Reiki certification. That experience opened another door, eventually leading me to complete my Usui Reiki Level II and Holy Fire® Reiki practitioner training.

Through these experiences, I began to understand something that stayed with me.

So much of our growth happens on the inside, where no one else can see it.

We can feel ourselves changing. We can recognize the strength it took to get somewhere. We can carry memories, lessons, and moments that have shaped us, yet none of that is necessarily visible to the outside world.

And I started wondering...

What if there were something tangible? Something beautiful, simple, and meaningful that we could carry with us every day?

That's when permanent jewelry entered the picture.

To me, a piece of jewelry can be so much more than an accessory. It can be a sentimental reminder of how far you've come, the people you've loved, the connections you've made, or the version of yourself you're choosing to become.

Something you can look down at on an ordinary Tuesday and remember something extraordinary about your own journey.

And perhaps, if you choose, it becomes a conversation starter. An opportunity to share a little piece of your story with someone else.

That is how Adorned with Alignment came to life.

From a little girl who, deep down, was struggling to find her way, but never stopped searching for the woman she knew she was destined to become.

This passion project is an extension of that journey. A coming together of healing, intention, beauty, and human connection.

I don't believe everyone's path to healing looks the same. Nor do I believe it should.

But I do believe we all deserve moments that remind us of who we are, what we've overcome, and how much possibility still lies ahead.
